Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp has been an Canadian actor for a long time. Her name is well-known due to her roles in film and television. Her popularity is shared by both Canadian and American television. Emily's passion for acting started when, at age 12 she visited their sister Katie who was shooting one of Katie's movies. After discovering her enthusiasm for the acting world, Emily enrolled in classes for it and started to audition. She started out with a few ads and soon was cast in Are You afraid of the Dark, a Canadian horror film for children. The show had one episode where she was unable to talk. On the WB program Glory Days, she received her first big break at age 15. Emily's role in the show by WB Glory Days, which was canceled 9 episodes later, drew the attention and interest of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily was an accomplished ballet dancer as well as a photographer. Teen once named her among the best actresses below the age of twenty. The Maxim's Hot 100 2014 list ranked her as number 51.
