Richard B. Cheney is an accomplished American businessman, public servant and politician. Cheney known as a popular figure on the scene of Washington politics, has served under four presidents from the United States. George W. Bush is the fourth. Bush picked Cheney as his vice presidential running mate in July 2000, citing the wisdom of his judgment and expertise. Dick Cheney has served our country as chief of staff for a president. He and was also a member of as a member of the United States Congress and servedas secretary of Defense. Cheney is uncompromising, with the respect of all Republicans and Democrats. Cheney said he sees his position within that of Bush administration as being a straightforward however, a discreet advisor. Cheney was the first to accept the Republican vice-presidential election in 2007 said he was looking forward to working alongside a president who can reach across the political aisle to collaborate with adversaries with respect and an unifying objective. Richard Bruce Cheney is the son Richard Herbert Cheney of the late Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He was born on January 30, 1941, in Lincoln Nebraska. After 13 years of age, old, he relocated together with family members to Casper in the western part of Wyoming in Wyoming, where his father directed the local district of soil conservation for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
