Stevenson is Mexican as well as American. Gerina has always been very active in sports. Gerina started to play golf when she was 15 years old. Gerina completed her high school studies at Goddard High School. In the high school level, she was able to win the New Mexico state golf tournament. A volleyball player, she participated in state championships. The year 2003 was the year she began studying in The University of Texas. During her senior years she was the winner of every competition she competed in.
